Finding new music that is hard-hitting but yet so relaxing is pretty hard to come by but new collective Y.O.U.N.G from Manchester have done just that with their brand new single Exposure. Infused with a funky guitar riff and exuberating bassline throughout these guys are making a statement that is hard to dismiss. Especially if you are a fan of groups such as; Arctic Monkeys and the Bromheads Jacket then you’re in for a treat.
Hailing from seemingly dissimilar backgrounds from Hip Hop MC’s, Punk bands, soul collectives, dance producers and Rap/Pop rockers Y.O.U.N.G are already turning heads with their exciting alt-pop blend of Rap, Pop and Rock across Europe.
The new single Exposure is the follow-up track to their tear away debut hit What I Gotta Do, Ben the iconic rapper of the group explains the meaning behind the song and why it is important to know your self-worth. Exposure is about outing those who need to be outed. Everybody encounters liars, cheats and blaggers in their life who deserve to be exposed. In essence Exposure is a final word to anyone who deserves not to be in your life.”
The band consists of 5 members: Chez Davis who produces the vocals and electrifying guitar, to lyrical rapper Ben James, James Skehan who also blesses us with his talent for the guitar as well as being behind the production of the track, Tom Whitehead the explosive bass man and Graeme Smith the thunderous drummer.
Y.O.U.N.G are said to be doing a mini European headline tour through Live Nation in the near future and if you are a fan from London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Warsaw then you need to keep your eyes open for the tour dates when they are released. But for now enjoy Exposure and get ready to express your rebellious side.
